BREATHE N BOUNCE

  So this past week I went back to one of my favorite places Civana located in Carefree, AZ just out of Scottsdale. I did so for their Summer Camp for the Soul.  Where attention goes energy flows is the old saying.  I have learned over the years it's very true.  Trying to find positive energy can be difficult until you realize it is within you.  Building self sabotaging behaviors which lead to self fulfilling prophecies is never fun.  Keep your eyes locked on the prize and know you will get there within time.   It was 1985 or so. It was one of the first times I can remember going to Venture and I was in th,r music department. LPs were the thing back then and I flipped through the albums.  When we hurt others, it takes such a toll on everyone involved.  Especially in a family setting.  The hurt doesn't just go away so we need to take this as a chance to find our best selves and learn how not to do things like this again.  This is a current battle of mine and I have had to take responsibility for my actions, pay the price, and do the work.  We all need to do this together, especially when we really hurt someone close to us. We don't have control over much one would say, but ourselves in much more than much.  Learning that our reactions, emotions, and reactions can be controlled with some help and motivation.  Learning how to control ourselves is the ultimate gift we can give ourselves.  It will enhance our lives ten fold.   One of the most frustrating things in my life is when my mood is consistently good and then out of nowhere I feel like shit. It is worse because for those first few moments I feel powerless. Like someone dropped a piano on my head, kind of like those Tom and Jerry cartoons many of us watched as kids. Sometimes it's very heavy, and at times not as bad.
