EPISODE VI MUSIC

This the music from the show that told you stop wasting all that time...

STEVE ANGELLO (FT THE PRESENTS)- REMEMBER

One of my favorite songs of all time. Just the lyrics hit hard.  The song really focuses on how we grow colder and older and we should remember the things that make us us.  Angello is one third of Swedish House Mafia.  Get familiar with them.  They are on the show alot.

SKID ROW - WASTED TIME

A very powerful song that was written for a friend of lead singer Sebastian Bach who had addiction issues.  However the song is so universal.  It makes me think about the last 15 years of my life.  How much time I wasted being angry, upset, and triggered.  However, we find ways to grow, and refuse to stay stuck.

ASAF AVIDAN AND THE MOJOS - ONE DAY

The message behind this song pretty much sums up this entire episode.  One day we will grow old and laugh at all the stories that we told.  I don't think that's the lyric, but thats the idea right?

EPISODE V MUSIC

Here is the music from Epsiode V with Katie and Megan

THE LOVIN SPOONFUL-DO YOU BELIEVE IN MAGIC

This song was selected because I heard the term twin magic in the WWE regarding the Bella Twins.  When one was in bad shape in the ring and the ref wasn't watching, the other would get into ring and get the win.  So when Katie and Megan are in pictures together, I always wrote #twinmagic.  The other reason why is Megan said in the interview the body and breath connection is magic.

ARMIN VAN BUUREN-INDESTRUCTABLE

I picked this song because I have a belief when you have a close bond with someone (as the twins do) you are indestructable.  It can be a spouse, friend, sibling, parent, whatever.  The song really kicks ass and gets you going.

UNKNOWN ARTIST-YOU ARE MY SISTER

Sometimes I find gems on the internet when I search for good stuff and this was one of them.  I really felt like this song caped off what I thought was a beuatiful experience interviewing Katie and Megan because I felt the strong bond between them during the interview and this was sealing it with a kiss.  This episode was one of my favorites to produce

EPISODE IV MUSIC

I love roman numbers by the way.  That is why every episode is a roman number.  Anyway here is the music for episode IV.

CDM-MANY RIVERS TO CROSS

This is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard.  A remake of Jimmy Cliff's tune from 1976, the ambient tones and soothing electronic medley brings a new take of this classic.  This is on volume 9 of the Cafe Del Mar series of "chill" music and there is some great music with that label.  I would highly recommend delving into the Cafe Del Mars, great music.

SEVENTY7 FEATURING STING- EVERY BREATH YOU TAKE

This was a nice remix of the Police classic that put them on the map with that creepy ass video.  I love this song but I liked putting a positive touch on it and I dedicated it to yoga teachers, especially after Jenn Finnegan who is going to be my teacher as I take the journey to becoming a certified yoga teacher told me "we are always watching.  remember when I said take i slow during class, that was for you."  Can't wait for this.

CANNONS-LOVE ON THE GROUND

If you have never heard of Cannons, you should take a listen.  They have a very unique sound that is hauntigly beautiful.  Their single "Fire for You" was a staple in 2020 on Sirius XMChill.  This song has a cool vibe ot it and I thought the title was appropriate for this episode.

EPISODE III EXTRAS UP ON PODCAST

Alexis Johnson owner of the Healing Arts Boutique in Crystal Lake joined us on the show a few weeks ago and this was the uncut interview.  We actually had a power outage in the middle of it.  It was wild but this was a deeper look into the wonderful soul that is Alexis. CHECK IT OUT HERE!!!!!

MUSIC FROM EPISODE III

Sorry we are late with this, but here are your tunes from Episode III.

GARY WRIGHT - DREAMWEAVER

This was a song I heard when I was young all the time, and it always stuck with me and does so more so now forever.  We are all dream weavers.  We weave the dreams and we seek to make these dreams a reality.  On a personal note, they used this song in the end of the People vs Larry Flynt and I loved how they used it when Larry was sitting on the bed saying "we did it honey" watching a video of her dance and Dreamweaver played in the background.  I love how music is incorporated with movies.

FLEETWOOD MAC - Dreams (Special demo live take 2 version)

Mac is one of my favorite music groups and I could have just played the wonderful version of Dreams that everyone has heard on the radio 20000 times, but I wanted something more intimate and special to fit the vibe of the show.  I found this gem and rolled with it.  I contemplated using the Dance version, but this was raw and you really felt Stevie's vocals.

VAN HALEN- Dreams

After listening to Alexis talk about her story, I really wanted to give it the exclamation point it deserved.  I dabble in all types of music and maybe Van Halen is not "yoga" enough for people, however yoga and mindfulness is all about a flow.  I learned that when Nancy from Happy Hour played Tsunami by DVBBS and Borgeous during a Flow class and our friend Jodi dropped one of my favorites by Deadmau5 during her class that there is so much flexibility and we are trying to create vibrations and feelings.  I hope you felt the excitement when you hear Eddie hit those first few notes on the keyboard when this song kicked on.
