ANOTHER DAY

I thank you God for another day, another opportunity.  Another chance.  I am so grateful

 

Another day to grow, another day to learn

Where we can learn how to live with purpose and not out of concern

Another day to laugh, another day to cry

We all have different feelings, it’s the same for you and I

Another day to talk, another day to sit

The stillness of solitude, we can quiet our mind a bit

Another day to walk, another day to move

We get another chance to breathe, just so we can improve

Another day to ponder, another day to act

We think of great memories, and maybe we’ll run them back

Another day to live, another day has come

Feeling joy and happiness in heart, hoping not to feel numb

Another day for passion, another day for love

There may be sadness and sorrow today, but we learn to rise above

 

We get another 24, so let go out and do our best

This is the real thing, this is not a test

So take this day and make the best, find a way to win

Let’s all celebrate the gift, and let the love in
