I talk about how we walk around with our defenses up because we may not want people to see our true selves because we are afraid we will not be accepted. Then again, if we are to live authentically, we might just be ourselves with no cares and no regrets. We just work to build ourselves up physically and mentally to help us find the person we are and also with the courage to just be who we are at the present moment, rather than worry about what happened before.
