EPISODE LXXVII: BUILD AND BELIEVE

Sometimes we hurt too many people and make way too many mistakes and believe there is no hope.  I have been really working on myself for a couple of years and I can't let the sins of my past become the roadblocks of my present.  Otherwise there is no future.  So I talk about how we can build a better version of ourselves and believe everything will work out.

THE LUCKY ONES

As we travel throughout life, we look around us and sometimes we find ourselves joining a certain club without our knowledge. It's a club my teacher and new friend Rina calls "the comparison club." We go on social media and see people have things experiences that we are like I wish we could have that, or look how happy they are, I wish I was that happy. When we go to the gym, some of us look at people there and say boy I wish I could look like that. By doing this, we are missing a much bigger picture than Kodak, the photo company that provides pictures for those special "kodak moments," you know, the ones you see on social media. (read more)
 

EPISODE LXXVI: PROCRASTINATION AND PATIENCE

 It's a fine line we walk.  Learning how to have patience for things to come, but not getting it confused with not taking any action steps to get there.  I talk about the dangers and potential losses when it comes to procrastinating, and how some times the waiting is the hardest part, as the poet Tom Petty said, but it may be worth it and much more satisfying.

THE SCREAMING MIND

 If there is one thing I have learned over the last couple of decades is that my mind ran the show. The second guessing, the bad esteem, the anxiety, all of those things. I didn't do the necessary things I needed to do to get my mind right. It cost me plenty, but it also hurt those around me. (read more)
