  I have said to many people I know and even on the show, that this is the best I have been feeling for a while. It's actually the happiest I have ever been. I have learned how to love myself and the skin I am in, not carry the burden of things that I have done in the past, and just be eternally grateful for the life I have and the opportunities that come with it. So many things out there look so good, but what is the long term effect of giving into these wonderful things.  Food, sex, drugs, etc.  I talk about it all here.  I even go into some of my past vices and what not.  Throughout my life, I haven't made the best decisions. I went left instead of right when I should have stayed right and vice versa. I have hit when I should pass. I chose violence when things didn't go my way like a bratty little boy. I tried to bully when people made mistakes, and I couldn't take criticism to save my life. I felt like there was never a choice for me. I had to be this angry, disgruntled, young man and I was raised to believe that was the way it had to go. For years I believed that lie, felt sorry for myself when I caused all the havoc and chaos. Now I know better. ( read more )

 I decided to be as goofy and as silly as possible for this one because we all need that in our life.  To be happy, to be free to be ourselves and not be judged and also what a music lineup I put together as well.  I really enjoyed this one.   Since it was the last week of my summer, I took a trip to Lifetime Fitness in Bloomfield Hills, MI. I went specifically to take a yoga class, but not just any class. This one was taught by Jonny Kest, the creator of the yoga teacher training program I completed in December. I really wanted to see what it was like taking a class with him, and this was not just a class, it was an experience like nothing I have ever been through.

 Ego is a driving force in our lives.  We have to learn how to not let in take the drivers seat of this thing we call life.  I talk about how I use meditation and other skills to keep my ego in check, but I also cite examples where my ego has taken over and the results haven't been great.
